As a part of the Ministry of Economy QED functions as a testing environment (laboratory), as well as an educational environment for the latest and most advanced trends in the field of ICT.

QED will initially focus on training, studies and research based on:

3D Printing – various applications for research and business purposes;
3D Scanning – with a wide field of application in mechanical engineering, architecture, medicine and dentistry

The range of activities are envisaged to expand further in the future.
