EDIH DIG-4K, Shaping Kosovo’s Digital Future.

ABOUT US

The Digital Innovation Gateway for Kosovo (DIG-4K) is an initiative aimed at accelerating Kosovo’s digital transformation and positioning the country as a regional hub for digital innovation, skills development, and entrepreneurship. Led by the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren and co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Kosovo, DIG-4K is the first European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in Kosovo, recognized under the EU Digital Europe Programme.

DIG-4K is designed to build digital capacity across sectors by providing essential support mainly to MSMEs and public sector organizations.

Through a series of targeted work packages and activities, DIG-4K promotes the adoption of advanced digital technologies, particularly in e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, education, and agriculture – while also supporting entrepreneurship and innovation-driven services.

📣EDIH DIG-4K Participates in the Accelerating Autonomy with European Frontiers Summit in Warsaw

The EDIH DIG-4K team participated in the Accelerating Autonomy with European Frontiers Summit in Warsaw, bringing together European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) and key innovation stakeholders from across Europe to strengthen the digital innovation ecosystem and accelerate advanced technology adoption by SMEs.

Supported by GIZ and FundingBox under the EU4Digital and DT4SME initiatives, the summit served as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic alignment.


Discussions highlighted the role of EDIHs as key drivers of digital transformation, bridging technologies such as AI, HPC, and cybersecurity with industry needs, while emphasizing the importance of cross-border collaboration for Europe’s digital autonomy.

During the panel “The Reality of EDIH Management”, EDIH DIG-4K’s Team Leader shared insights on addressing operational challenges and delivering impactful services to SMEs and public sector organizations.

Through interactive sessions and workshops, participants exchanged best practices and explored opportunities for collaboration, contributing to stronger joint impact across Europe.

📣New Cooperation Strengthens Digital Transformation Support for Businesses in Prizren

Prizren, Kosovo – A new Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Municipality of Prizren, Innovation & Training Park Prizren, and the Makerspace Innovation Center Prizren marks an important step forward in strengthening digital transformation support for businesses through the Digital Innovation Gateway for Kosovo – DIG-4K project.

The partnership builds on existing services already supporting businesses in the Prizren region.  With the additional support of the Municipality of Prizren, these businesses are enabled to move beyond basic assistance and further digitalise their processes in line with their development needs and strategic goals.


By bringing together public institutions and innovation actors, this cooperation aims to deliver more targeted and sustainable support, enabling businesses to respond to market demands, improve efficiency, and grow in an increasingly digital economy.

DIG-4K and its partners will continue working closely to expand the reach and depth of their support, creating lasting impact for businesses and contributing to a stronger, more innovative regional economy. Businesses in the Prizren region interested in advancing their digital transformation are encouraged to explore available DIG-4K services and upcoming support opportunities.

📣Visit of MEP Riho Terras to ITP Prizren

The Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren welcomed Mr. Riho Terras, Member of the European Parliament and Rapporteur for Kosovo, for an official visit focused on innovation and ecosystem development.

The visit included a round-table discussion with ITP Prizren partners and members of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) DIG-4K, followed by a guided tour of the Park. Discussions centered on innovation, talent development, and the role of ITP Prizren as a collaborative space where businesses, academia, and public institutions work together.


The ITP Prizren team thanks Mr. Terras for his visit and the opportunity to continue the dialogue. Appreciation is also extended to partners for their participation and for sharing insights from their work within the ITP ecosystem.
