Innovation and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren is seeking to fill the position of: 

Facility Manager 

ITP Prizren is searching for a qualified facilities manager to work alongside maintenance staff to ensure  it’s buildings and grounds are clean and safe. The facilities manager oversees all aspects of building  functions, maintenance and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include  running routine inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining  records, and supervising facilities maintenance staff, composed of 10-13 staff. The candidate shall be well acquainted with facilities management processes and shows high multitasking and organizational  skills.  

Main responsibilities 

• Organize and plan ITP maintenance and refurbishments 
• Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
• Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
• Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol.
• Supervise multi-disciplinary staff including maintenance, cleaning, grounds keeping, parking, and to ensure that they meet the needs of ITP Prizren 
• Ensure that basic facilities, such as water, electricity and heating are well maintained.
• Ensure that facilities meet international regulations and environmental, health, safety, and security standards 
• Monitoring of utilities and propose measures on increasing energy efficiency and cost effectiveness of the building usage 
• Inspect building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations and address the same 
• Draft Terms of Reference for maintenance, refurbishment and constructions works
• Overseeing inventory and equipment track-record. 
• Overseeing the contract for security services of the ITP Prizren 
• Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facilities
• Preparing reports and maintaining financial and non-financial records.
• Planning and coordination of activities for preparation of facilities for hosting of events in ITP. Including coordination for technical maintenance/repair services 24/7 during their stay.
• Act as a focal point with current ITP tenants regarding technical & logistic support for new rented premises and events. 
• Planning, initiation, and monitoring of maintenance and other facility management related contracts in ITP. 

Required qualifications, competencies, and experience. 

Qualifications 

• University degree in engineering, environment and energy, or facility and property  management related field 

Professional experience 

• Knowledge and experience of at least 3 years of professional experience in facilities  management, private/public sector, NGO and/or related fields such as electrical, mechanical, water and sewage including HVAC, solar panel installations, and other park  related systems.  

Other knowledge, additional competences  

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English language. 
• Experience in managing and overseeing maintenance projects of buildings and properties 
• Experience in working with vendors, suppliers, and service providers 
• Knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings and designs, building information  modeling, and environmental management best practices and procedures applicable to  facility management 
• IT skills including knowledge of MS Office and relevant facility management requirements
• Ability to multitask and prioritize the workload. 
• Analytical problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills 
• Ability to work with people from all backgrounds. 
• Communication skills, in person and in writing.
