DIG-4K is committed to fostering digital innovation by providing essential services that support national, regional, and EU ecosystems. This initiative brings together a consortium of partners united in accelerating Kosovo's digital transformation. Led by the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren and supported by key stakeholders from the private sector, public sector, academia, and civil society organizations (CSOs), DIG-4K is co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Kosovo.
With the support of its partners, DIG-4K offers a comprehensive portfolio of services designed to strengthen Kosovo’s digital innovation landscape. Our approach is built around four key pillars: promoting and connecting the innovation ecosystem and networking opportunities, advancing skills development and training, enabling businesses to test before investing, and facilitating access to investment opportunities.

EDUTASK – Implementing Partner
EDUTASK focuses on education, digital transformation, capacity building, and research. It provides digital maturity assessments, strategic consulting, and event organization. Since 2023, it has offered funding services like grant scouting, consortium-building, and grant writing workshops. UUHP delivers quality education with a focus on scientific research and labor market alignment. Makerspace Innovation Center Prizren – Implementing Partner
Established in 2017, MAKERSPACE started with training and coworking opportunities for the community. It now offers vocational education and technological training programs in areas like Web Development, Graphic Design, Video Editing, and 3D Printing. It leads the “Idea-to-Scale” business program, supports SME digital transformation through business assessments and strategy development, and fosters networking and innovation among its community members.

Kosovo Research and Education Network (KREN) – Associated Partner
KREN provides essential digital infrastructure to Kosovo’s higher education institutions. Through its Data Center and private network, it offers tools like SaaS platforms and the KREN MOODLE e-learning system. KREN also links the DIG-4K ecosystem with European academic networks, fostering international collaboration and innovation.

To achieve its mission, DIG-4K is organized around seven interconnected Work Packages (WPs), each targeting key aspects of digital transformation in Kosovo.
This work package ensures effective project governance, quality assurance, and resource management, enabling timely implementation and adherence to project goals.
WP2 provides expert advisory services for both MSMEs and public institutions, facilitating their digitalization efforts and promoting the adoption of innovative technologies.
Focusing on bridging the digital skills gap, WP3 delivers tailored training programs to upskill the workforce and ensure their readiness for the evolving digital landscape.
A dedicated innovation lab will provide stakeholders with access to emerging technologies, fostering AI-driven solutions in smart mobility, cybersecurity, and green tech.
To strengthen the digital economy, WP5 supports stakeholders in accessing funding opportunities through grant consulting, proposal writing workshops, and investment matchmaking events.
WP6 focuses on building strong national and international partnerships, connecting Kosovo’s digital ecosystem with global innovation networks and facilitating knowledge exchange.
Ensuring the project’s long-term impact, WP7 promotes best practices, disseminates findings, and facilitates the adoption of successful digital transformation strategies across multiple sectors.

📣 DIG-4K: Driving Digital Innovation in Kosovo!
We’re thrilled to kick off the Digital Innovation Gateway for Kosovo (DIG-4K)—a transformative project co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Kosova to accelerate digital innovation.
Implemented by ITP Prizren alongside key partners from the private sector, academia, and civil society, DIG-4K will support MSMEs, startups, public institutions, and communities in building a dynamic digital ecosystem across Kosovo.
The kick-off meeting brought together our key partners— ALT shpk, Quantix LLC , Edutask , Cacttus Education, University of Business & Technology, University of Prizren, Makerspace Innovation Center Prizren and Kren Kosovo to align on next steps and drive impact.
